Mission and Vision

    Tsinghua SIGS aims to reshape graduate education as well as research and development to better serve local, national, regional, and global sustainable development.

    Tsinghua SIGS is committed to nurturing the next generations of global leaders, tackling global challenges through international collaborations, and facilitating interdisciplinary research and industrial partnerships.
Development Targets
  • Current
    Leverage international resources, as well as technological and industrial advantages of Shenzhen and the Greater Bay area, explore new academic governance and administrative systems, and establish an innovation ecosystem driven by talents.
  • 2025
    Expand our core faculty team to 250 members, with 1/5 from outside of mainland China, and reach 5000 students with 10% international students.
  • 2030
    ​Establish a full faculty team spanning our academic disciplines and increase enrollment to 8000 full-time graduate students; continue to build global partnerships and promote innovation in higher education to serve the sustainable development of Shenzhen, the Greater Bay Area, China and the world.
