Innovation Workshop X Program | Institute of Data and Information

The Institute of Data and Information (iDI) at Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School will periodically organize the Innovation Workshop X Program. During these events, students from universities in neighboring regions and countries will be invited for short-term visits to engage in face-to-face exchanges with Tsinghua faculty and students. They will also have the opportunity to visit renowned enterprises, immersing themselves in Shenzhen's vibrant technological innovation scene and experiencing the unique charm of Chinese culture. This initiative aims to foster collaboration and exchange between our institute's members and the international academic community.  

As one of the six key interdisciplinary disciplines prioritized by Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School, iDI uphold the principles of interdisciplinary integration, industry-education collaboration, synergistic innovation, and internationalized training, actively aligns with and integrates into China’s major strategic initiatives. Guided by the industrial demands of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and leveraging Shenzhen’s strengths in the electronic information industry, iDI is committed to building national strategic scientific and technological capabilities, advancing high-level talent development, and exploring new models of industry-academia-research collaboration and talent cultivation. Focusing on key research areas such as embodied intelligence, AI+X, and high-end equipment, iDI aims to enhance its capacity to serve national strategic needs and address critical challenges in regional economic development.

The program typically lasts 2-3 days, with flexible scheduling according to the needs of visiting universities. Interested institutions are welcome to contact us directly for further arrangements.
