Wang Fei’s team has long focused on the study of intelligent forest fire prevention, achieving a series of results in areas such as data-driven forest fire risk assessment, fire prediction modeling in urban-forest junction areas, and fire spot identification and monitoring. Li Yi also guided the project, especially in the core content of intelligent perception technology under multi-sensor fusion and signal characteristics recognition based on AI models. The team worked together to weave a solid forest protection net for our ecological environment with technology.

The intelligent framework proposed by the team

The project integrates intelligent methods into the entire disaster prevention and control chain, achieving comprehensive intelligent prevention and control through integrated assessment, precise identification, and situational prediction. With strong technological support, it facilitates to achieve the goal of early detection, precise containment, and complete extinguishment in forest fire rescue. Currently, the research results have been successfully applied in multiple regions, including Guangdong, Zhejiang, and Heilongjiang Provinces, providing crucial technical support for forest fire prevention and control.
