The Institute of Biopharmaceutical and Health Engineering (iBHE) at Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School (Tsinghua SIGS), one of the priority academic areas, focuses on four key interdisciplinary research directions: health engineering, pharmaceutical engineering, vaccine engineering, and cell engineering. Supported by engineering sciences, iBHE aims to foster a multidisciplinary platform that cultivates high-level, internationally-minded innovative talents.
In recent years, iBHE has continuously explored new models in talent cultivation, scientific innovation, and academic exchange. Through two successful Biopharmaceutical and Health Engineering Cup International Graduate Forum editions, iBHE has provided an all-encompassing, multidimensional, and in-depth platform for academic interaction and cross-disciplinary collaboration. These forums have inspired innovative thinking among graduate students, enhanced their academic capabilities, and encouraged them to take on academic responsibilities to address national challenges.
The 3rd Biopharmaceutical and Health Engineering Cup International Graduate Forum, which opened on January 7, aligns with China’s innovation-driven development strategy and the industrial development needs of Guangdong Province and Shenzhen. This year's event introduced two distinctive tracks: the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Track and the International & Greater Bay Area Track. These tracks aim to inspire participants to transform laboratory findings into practical productivity, strengthen international collaboration, and collectively drive innovation in the field of biopharmaceuticals and health engineering.
