Management Science and Engineering
Program Overview
Management Science and Engineering is a discipline that integrates systems science, management science, mathematics, economics, behavioral sciences, and engineering methods, combined with information technology and artificial intelligence, to solve management issues in social, economic, and engineering contexts.
The discipline provides an excellent environment for bringing together experts in the field of production and logistics and training high-quality research talents. It offers solid experimental support for producing high-level research results and quality publications. The faculty currently includes 3 professors, 3 associate professors, 1 assistant professor, as well as 3 research assistants and postdoctoral researchers.
Program Features
A distinctive feature of this discipline is the comprehensive use of mathematics, statistics, social sciences, information technology, and artificial intelligence, as well as borrowing methods from other natural sciences to reveal the laws and principles of management activities. These laws and principles are then applied to improve and optimize management processes. In recent years, the discipline has focused on industries such as logistics, transportation, manufacturing, IT, and financial services, achieving significant research results and awards, and gaining substantial influence within the field in China.
