The 5th Tsinghua Hong Kong-Macao Symposium is coming!

December 7, 2024, the 5th Tsinghua Hong Kong-Macao Symposium will be held at Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School.

This year’s theme:

Concurrence, Concordance, and Convergence: The Unique Roles of Hong Kong and Macao in the Development of Chinese Civilization

The symposium will adopt the form of a Main Forum + Sub-forums, featuring group dialogues on diverse themes. Experts, scholars, and representatives from the political, business, and academic fields will gather to explore the profound significance of the integration and connection within the Greater Bay Area, stimulate academic vitality, and spark intellectual exchanges.

The Tsinghua Hong Kong-Macao Symposium upholds the spirit of the “ Tsinghua Symposium”, founded in 2020, and has successfully held four editions to date. It is a high-end academic forum hosted by Tsinghua University and organized by the Center for Hong Kong and Macau Studies, Tsinghua University, dedicated to building a platform for exchanges between the mainland and Hong Kong and Macao.
