On October 23rd, Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School (SIGS) held the “Shuimu Plan” dialogue and exchange activity for young teachers from SIGS and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). This activity invited young teachers to share their scientific research experiences and academic achievements with each other, facilitating in-depth exchanges and cooperation between the two sides in the scientific research field and jointly promoting academic progress and sci-tech innovation.
During the event, representatives of both sides indicated in their speeches that they expected this activity to be the starting point for deepening cooperation between the two sides. They would jointly explore new cooperation opportunities in talent cultivation and scientific research development to inject new vitality into the development of both sides. They also hoped to promote mutual understanding among young teachers of both sides, explore possible opportunities for scientific research cooperation and talent cultivation cooperation, strengthen resource sharing, and jointly contribute to the prosperous development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area.
In addition, young teachers from both sides had in-depth discussions on scientific research cooperation. The teachers shared their respective research directions, research achievements, and academic experiences one by one and held lively discussions on scientific research issues of common concern.
This “Shuimu Plan” dialogue and exchange activity for young teachers not only strengthened the friendship between SIGS and HKUST, but also provided a valuable exchange opportunity for young teachers from SIGS and HKUST. The two sides will continue to enhance exchanges and cooperation, jointly promote academic progress, and contribute to cultivating more outstanding scientific research talents and social progress.
