The second wave of Tsinghua SIGS students returned to campus on April 18th.
Starting April 8th, students across Shenzhen began returning to school using a phased approach. As of April 18th, close to one thousand non-graduating SIGS students have been approved to return to campus. Students graduating this semester started returning to campus on April 11th.
On April 18th, officials from the Education Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality visited Tsinghua SIGS to inspect the return procedures, including how students enter campus, epidemic prevention and control procedures in the dorms, COVID-19 testing plans, etc.

Students returning to campus must undergo three days of health observation and daily COVID-19 testing. Eat-in dining is prohibited in the dining halls from April 18th to April 21st.
Hybrid classes began on April 20th. In the classrooms, students and faculty are required to wear masks at all times and maintain social distancing.
