I chose SIGS mainly because of the prestige Tsinghua University has, not only in China, but around the world, and also because of the nature of the program. I am very interested in working with companies and gathering knowledge in and out of the classroom. I chose Shenzhen because I think the city is very vibrant, innovative and modern. When I arrived here and saw the city center I felt like I travelled to 2029! I’ve personally seen how fast cities develop in China but Shenzhen impressed me so much, I came here to visit two years ago and right now it’s so much different. With its rapid growth, I think Shenzhen is the place to be. So far, I am very impressed with the campus, I’ve been meeting a lot of interesting people and am excited to begin this semester.
