Research Interests
Focuse on the prevention and control of harmful algal blooms and microalgal biotechnology, including: (1) monitoring and early warning technologies for harmful algae and their products, (2) preventive algae control and emergency algae removal technologies, (3) carbon sequestration and pollution reduction technologies of microalgae, and (4) water ecological health assessment and restoration technologies. The research team has undertaken one general project and one youth project from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, one key project on efficient development and utilization of water resources from the national key research and development program, two major national science and technology water projects, two public welfare research projects from the Ministry of Water Resources, one project from the national 863 science and technology special program, one general project from the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation, one project from the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Plan, and more than ten municipal science and technology projects such as Shenzhen Basic Research Project.
